DBA Admission Requirements
Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Program Admission Requirements
Consideration for admission to the Lincoln University DBA program requires the following evidence of qualification;
-
The application statement must clearly explain the applicant's objectives for seeking a doctorate in business administration including intellectual curiosity, interest in pursuing academic research, and relevance of their academic and/or professional experience and future career. It is advantageous but not mandatory to attach evidence of their research experience.
-
Three (3) letters of recommendation must accompany the application. The letters should evaluate the applicant's capacity to do doctoral research and successfully complete the requirements of the DBA program.
-
Full transcripts showing graduation with at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited degree granting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above on a scale of 4.0. Applicants completing prior education out of the U.S. should provide an evaluation and English translation of their transcripts to confirm comparability of their degree level to that in the U.S.
-
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) with minimum score of 550, or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) with minimum score of 1000, or an equivalent result of foreign test is required. This requirement is waived for an applicant having a master's degree with a grade point average of 3.3 or above.
-
Applicants from countries or schools where English is not an official educational language should provide a TOEFL minimum score of 79 (internet-based) / 213 (computer-based) / 550 (paper-based) or an equivalent result of other recognized English language tests.
Notes:
All applicants have to meet the University's general admission requirements, as well as the above degree admission requirements. In addition, international applicants need to meet the international admission requirements.
